365
The exact number of photographs I am currently downloading of my camera.
365.
Because I take alot of photographs.
And I have been BUSY.
Busy, taking photos, and not taking photos.
Busy NOT downloading the photos off my camera.
Busy writing, and writing, and writing, and writing, (but you wouldn’t know it by looking here.) Busy writing for the contract position that burned too fast, now leaving me with a “what now” feeling.
Busy NOT sleeping since my children have taken to waking at 3 am, and 4 am, and 5 am.
Busy falling down by bedroom stairs.
Busy rearranging my house AGAIN (why? because we aren’t moving this year, that is why…..). Busy trying to build myself a home office in our tiny house for a position that was completed by the time I finished organizing the last folder.
Busy attending ball games and school dances and girl scout activities.
Busy dealing with my children who are dealing with winter about as good as I do, by taking on whining as an extreme sport.
Busy fighting the demon I face each winter, the extreme anxiety and depression that cause me to become a shadow of my former self. The kind that should require Xanax if I would ever consider taking the stuff.
Busy digging out of 18 inches of snow.
Busy wondering what to do next. AGAIN. Photography, or writing (now that has seemed to take off a little), or instructional design, or teaching. Or something all together different. And being extremely jealous of those that seem to juggle it all with grace, ease, and ….. competence.
Busy wanting a change.
Busy telling myself I need to be the change.
Busy asking myself how. And then getting stuck. AGAIN.
Busy wondering about the direction of this blog. Continue with the mishmash? Find focus with parenting, photography, politics, education?
So I have been busy….. but at least I have photos….

My word, I’m glad we don’t have winters like that!
