Music City…… Here I Come
Oh, yeah, baby! I am headed to Nashville! To attend the best little blogging conference this winter…..Blissdom! I was not expecting to go AT ALL, but about two weeks ago….. with a little (GREAT BIG) push and help from a dear friend (cough cough Cinthya aka Ms. Sugar Jones……… whom I want to kiss right now …… alright…. calm down……) I will be in attendance and will be rocking the conference.
Let me tell you, I am SO EXCITED. Why? Because those that make me laugh day in and day out will be in attendance. Because those that give me confidence will be in attendance. But I am mostly excited because some of the most wonderful photographing women bloggers I know, will be in attendance (and those that won’t because they are overseas….. we will miss). These are women that inspire me daily to be better. I have learned so much from their style, their expertise, and their amazing talent. To finally meet them will be a treat.
Furthermore, some of the greatest women in the biz will be there, and I have much to learn (namely about getting a fire lit under my butt already…..). And I will be rooming with two completely AWESOME ladies: Renee from Cutie Booty Cakes (just check out those awesome diaper cakes) and Julie from Cool Mom Guide (always has the hippest mom stuff around).
It might be completely passe to say this, but I honestly am blessed with all of the amazing talent that I have met through this blog and social media. I have learned so much about community, myself, and the craft of writing and photography. I am blessed that I will be able to participate in this conference and will be learning from some of the best.

Ah Nashville. I was only there for a few hours, but knew instantly that I would want to go back for multiple extended visits and who knows, live there one day.
Of course, Blissdom would rock no matter where it was held. It’s always fun to meet your online buddies.
