Endurance of a whole different sort

It is not even noon, and today we have endured…..

  • a walk to the local quick tags place to replace my lost or stolen drivers license (if I find out the Wise Guy hid my wallet I am going to SCREAM).
  • sunscreen in the eyes on said walk
  • a fall and scrape of both knees, both hands, and both elbows on said walk
  • a game of Operation with Wise Guy who lacks dexterity.  The buzzing is driving me batty.
  • the chasing down of a naked child in order to get him dressed.  He is fast.
  • the attempt to make a phone call to get the car inspected with children fighting over hand sanitizer in the background
  • Wise Guy climbing on my back while I was trying to write articles, and strangling me in the process.

Left to endure

  • A trip to the public pool with my children and nephew
  • A trip to Tae Kwon Do in which I will have to attempt to keep the Wise Guy off the mat and quiet.  Impossible task.
  • Dinner

I am lucky that I am meeting an old friend tonight for drinks.  Although, I have to say, at this moment in time, there is not a margarita big enough.

Sounds like a rough morning! I think that drink will certainly come in handy.

    Oof. Sounds like my week.
I started carrying bandaids everywhere (in purse, car and pockets) since we ALWAYS have scrapes in the summer. It’s a daily thing.
