My “What I’m Thankful For” Post

I am thankful for my husband.  He is patient, understanding, great with the kids, funny, and my best friend.  He knows me inside and out.  I couldn’t ask for a better person to spend my life with.

I am thankful for my children.  They add depth, wonder, and joy to my life.

I am thankful for writing.

I am thankful for photography.

I am thankful for wonderful friends and family, for their love and support.

I am thankful I have “met” so many wonderful people through writing in the past four months – amazing people, fantastic writers, people who are an inspiration and who are supportive.

I am thankful for the lines around my eyes, for they mean I have laughed, hard and often.

I am thankful for my house.

I am thankful for health.

For all that, I am and all that I will be, I am thankful.

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving (or a happy Thursday for our international friends).

I’m thankful to my mother for bringing me in this world.I can’t explain how much she had to suffer in her life but still she didn’t make me feel any discomfort.

I wasn’t always thankful. After surviving 9/11 I felt guilty that I did. I’m now thankful that God spared my life. Others have come in my path that I’ve been able to share my story with and help them move a little closer to healing, know they’re not alone with what they’re feeling and move a little further away from depression as well. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share that. I haven’t even had a chance to put that in my journal!
